Parade was a well acclaimed cultural exchange project in the context of the European Capital of Culture 2009 in Linz / Austria. Bei der "Parade der gehenden Musik" im Rahmen von Linz09 war die "Siebnerin" als Transferschiff im Hafenbecken im Einsatz. An verschiedenen Orten im Hafen waren Musikgruppen aus Afrika und Europa positioniert die über das Hafenbecken zusammengespielt haben. Die Siebnerin hatte eine Musikgruppe an Bord und glitt wie eine Art "Klangfähre" zu den einzelnen Spielorten und stellte so eine Verbindung über Wasser her... An Bord waren auch die Tonga Musiker und früheren Fährleute vom Zambezi River mit ihren archaisch anmutenden Instrumenten.
